Applied ABC to launch first Mass. behavioral therapy center on Gill Street

The Cummings Way

WOBURN, Mass. (August 6, 2026) – National autism therapy provider Applied ABC is expanding into Massachusetts with a new behavioral therapy center on Gill Street in Woburn.

The growing healthcare provider has leased 5,100 square feet from Cummings Properties for what will become its first brick-and-mortar location in the Commonwealth. Scheduled to open this fall, the center will provide individualized, family-centered applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children and young adults from birth through age 21.

Founded in 2014, Applied ABC currently delivers home-based ABA services in 26 states and operates center-based therapy locations in Arizona, Georgia, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina. The organization is accredited by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence and is a member of the Council of Autism Service Providers.

According to Cummings leasing director Steve Cusano, Gill Street’s central location and accessibility made it an ideal choice for the practice's Massachusetts expansion.

“Located just off Interstate 93 and Route 128, the new Woburn facility offers convenient access for families traveling from throughout greater Boston and the North Shore,” said Cusano.

Cusano represented Cummings Properties in the transaction and worked directly with Applied ABC to tailor the space for its specialized clinical needs. The lease includes a custom interior buildout by Cummings' in-house design and construction professionals.

Applied ABC joins a growing cluster of healthcare and human services organizations on Gill Street and throughout Cummings' Woburn portfolio, where neighboring providers include NuPath, Seem Collaborative, Thom Mystic Valley Early Intervention, Youth Villages, and numerous behavioral health and wellness practitioners.

“Practices increasingly value being part of an established healthcare ecosystem,” said Cusano. “Having complementary providers nearby benefits both clinicians and the families they serve.”

Cummings Properties’ 11 million square feet of commercial real estate accommodates labs and clean rooms, offices, healthcare facilities, restaurants, retail storefronts, warehouses, satellite offices, executive suites, and more. With a portfolio of this size and variety, the firm can meet virtually any commercial real estate need. Its in-house experts in design, construction, and property management offer “one-stop shopping” for the business community. More information is available at www.cummings.com.

Applied ABC provides individualized behavioral therapy for children and young adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disorders. Its trained clinicians deliver home- and center-based one-on-one therapy, summer programs, in-school support, social skills groups, and parent training designed to help children build meaningful skills and reach their full potential.
