Medical Center filling North Shore service void

The growing medical center presence at Cummings Center is proving to be of great convenience to the 4,000 people who now work in this booming business/research complex, as well as to the community at large. Altogether, there are now more than 80 medical offices and other health-related providers housed within the 80-acre waterside facility.

Shown below are the medical offices and other facilities of all sorts which have already opened in this burgeoning office and research center. Section I (green) lists all physicians, surgeons, dentists, podiatrists, etc., while Section II (pink) lists all social workers, psychological practices and counseling facilities. Section III (yellow) includes all other medical providers, arranged alphabetically.

According to Property Manager Mike Farrell, many of the medical practices which have already moved in came to Cummings Center from other Beverly area locations. "Most of them were very surprised with the large number of new patients they attracted from within Cummings Center itself," he said. "For their part, the patients, too, are thrilled with the great convenience of the medical services now available near-at-hand." Obviously, the availability of cross referrals within the same immediate area is also of great benefit to both patients and medical providers.
