The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a technically curious, organized, and resourceful problem-solver who enjoys taking projects from initial investigation through implementation and working with both internal and external partners.
Projects may begin with a utility bill that doesn't look right, an inefficient piece of equipment, an opportunity to take advantage of an incentive, or a new technology worth evaluating. An Energy Associate will be expected to investigate the issue, develop a practical solution, coordinate the necessary resources, and see the project through to completion.
The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between data analysis, technical research, vendor conversations, and hands-on problem-solving. No two initiatives are necessarily alike, making this a particularly good opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop broad expertise in commercial building energy use.
