This is a great opportunity for a professional with meaningful experience in commercial construction and real estate management. Candidates should possess strong negotiating, writing, and conversational skills, particularly in the areas of project management, operational efficiencies, value-engineering proposed work, and reducing operating expenses. This exciting, fast-paced role offers a diverse range of projects, including new buildings, additions, common-area renovations, tenant fitups, EV charging stations, solar arrays, and energy retrofits.

As a Senior Project Manager (SPA), you will collaborate with team members from the design, purchasing, sustainability, construction, and maintenance departments, and report directly to senior management. The SPA will maintain whole-project responsibility from conception to completion. S/he will leverage sound organizational skills, have a talent for multitasking, and adhere to deadlines to efficiently and effectively complete projects.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • A four-year college degree in a related discipline
  • Five or more years of experience in a relevant field
  • Skills in negotiating, buying, estimating, diplomacy and consensus-building
  • Aptitude to review and analyze drawings, specifications, and submittals
  • Resourcefulness to identify alternative products and innovative solutions
  • Ability to proactively collaborate on product selections and construction methods
  • Experience in project management, including identifying and solving challenges
  • Leadership skills to coordinate, direct, execute, and expedite projects
  • Capacity to oversee contracts and manage vendors and contractors
  • Capability to take initiative and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen curiosity and a critical eye
  • Experience with owner-managed real estate construction and maintenance
  • Superior accuracy and meticulous attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Current or near-term residency in north-suburban Boston
