Lease Administrator

Woburn

Are you a self-motivated, detail-oriented problem solver with a knack for juggling diverse projects? Cummings Properties is seeking a lease administrator to support the processing of commercial leases for the thousands of businesses populating its 11 million-square-foot suburban Boston real estate portfolio.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing letters of credit required under the terms of a lease
  • Processing and recording lease agreements, extensions, amendments, assignments, and other related documents
  • Collaborating with our in-house Legal Department to interpret lease provisions
  • Calculating billing adjustments and related entries and assisting with periodic billing of additional items due under the lease
  • Liaising with in-house Design and Operations teams to track and account for square footage changes within our buildings
  • Managing/generating reports for senior management and other internal departments, including monthly occupancy, outstanding rent, etc.

Requirements

  • Initial vaccination series for COVID-19
  • Residency within commuting distance to Woburn
  • Ability to work on site (This is not a remote or hybrid position.)

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate college degree
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and adhering to deadlines
  • Commercial real estate, paralegal, and/or contract administration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Access
  • Experience with MRI software or another property accounting system is a plus
