Project Designer / Architect


We are seeking an experienced project designer or architect to join our Beverly design/build team. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead tenant fit-up projects from start to finish at one of North of Boston Business’ 25 Best Places to Work. Working closely with our in-house leasing team, you will help develop space plan proposals, detailed specifications, material take-offs, cost estimates, construction drawings, and permit documents for various projects including biotech/laboratory, R&D, medical, food services, manufacturing, office, and retail uses of various sizes. Focusing on the Company’s 2.7 million square foot Beverly portfolio at Cummings Center and Dunham Ridge, you will also collaborate with our in-house construction team to facilitate timely buildouts and produce accurate construction drawings integrating architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.


  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
  • 5 to 10 years of practical architectural design, including experience with lab and/or technical facility design principles, casework and equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems.


  • Fluency in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel required; Revit a plus.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • High attention to detail and an ability to generate cost-effective design solutions.
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude, and strong written and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

About the Design Department:

Our team of designers, architects, and engineers produces a large volume of diverse projects, primarily focused on tenant fit-up, but also including speculative property development plans. We also plan exterior, interior, and energy retrofit renovations to existing buildings. From concept to construction, our team takes pride in being involved in all phases of each project.
