Construction & Procurement Administrator

Cummings Properties is seeking a smart, diligent, hard-working, and caring Administrator to join our mission-driven team. This full-time, in-office position in a stimulating environment is ideal for a highly motivated professional. It offers opportunities to be involved in a wide range of projects, collaborate with team members from the purchasing, sustainability, construction, and accounting departments, and report directly to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, evaluate and approve utility, construction, and maintenance invoices.
  • Create and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of department policies and procedures.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, and report generation.
  • Develop spreadsheets and maintain databases.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred but not required.
  • Resourcefulness to identify alternative, efficient and innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Capability to take initiative, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Very detail-oriented with superior accuracy.
  • Current or near-term residency in north-suburban Boston.
