Cummings Properties, LLC is seeking an experienced, Mechanical Engineer - HVAC to join our, multi-disciplinary in-house Architectural/Engineering department in Woburn, MA.
The Job
Work with our design, sustainability, purchasing, and construction teams in a practical, fast track, design/build environment. Responsibilities include designing and preparing fit-up and whole building HVAC and piping systems, evaluating existing HVAC systems, and coordinating and documenting projects. Typical projects will include fit-ups for a variety of clients including laboratory, new multi-story commercial buildings, and energy retrofits.
About You
The successful applicant must have a thorough understanding of and experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of commercial HVAC/mechanical systems, have solid graphic, written, and verbal communications skills, and enjoy a hands-on approach to solving problems and building consensus with the project team and the client. Applicants should have a current Massachusetts Mechanical Engineering license. AutoCAD proficiency is preferred. Ability to travel locally to project sites and access active construction areas, including roofs, is required.
About the Design Department: Our team of designers, architects, and engineers produces a large volume of diverse projects, including new building, fit-up, and speculative property development plans. In addition to our fit-up work, current projects include large-scale site development, multi-story commercial buildings, and assisted-living residences.
