Must be competent and experienced in analyzing business systems, NT/WIN network environments and the Internet. This experience should include analyzing, configuring, designing, and implementing Networks and Computer Solutions. Novell/Linus/ Exchange/MAC/IIS experience a plus! Hands on experience working with routers, firewalls, switches, and networking protocols a must. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required. Field Technician (Job Code VAC-FT-2000): Field Technicians work out of our Beverly office, but local travel is required to visit our client sites, working with their IS department. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with excellent PC skills and a strong knowledge of Networking. You will need the ability to build and maintain high-end servers and workstations in the field. You will need a strong working knowledge of all hardware, software, peripherals, and networks. Installation and Network configuration experience is a plus. Network protocols are a plus, TCP/IP, IPX, etc. You will be maintaining our client's networks, doing PC repair, upgrades, installations, and troubleshooting problems as they arise. NT, Exchange, BackOffice, and SQL knowledge are highly desired. You will need two plus years experience in working with servers, PC, NT, Novell, and Windows 95 & 98.
