innovators
The Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) honored five
area companies, which were selected from more than 100 nominees, with
2004 New England Innovation Awards.
The companies selected were:

Technologies Inc., Wakefield, which engineers anti-microbial solutions
for a range of industrial, consumer and medical products customers.

Inc., Boston, which provides in-depth IT content, including white
papers, product literature, webcasts, analyst reports and case studies.

Plumbing & Heating Co. Inc., Lincoln, R.I., which is a family
-owned and operated plumbing and heating business.

Kortec
Inc., Ipswich, which is the world's largest supplier of turnkey co-injection
systems for the plastics and packaging industries.

Skyscape
Inc., Hudson, which provides interactive medical and nursing reference
information for handheld devices for medical professionals to use
on-site.
SBANE,
a private, nonprofit organization, has honored, since 1986, more than
100 companies that have proven successful and innovative.
