Dynamics Research
Corp. reports it has landed $12.9 million from the U.S. Air Force. Under
the contract, Dynamics Research (Nasdaq: DRCO) will perform IT services
for the Air Force Global Logistics Support Center, part of the Air Force
Materiel Command located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
The Andover-based
company will determine the extent of the problems the Air Force is having
with its D200A data quality system. Dynamics Research will identify discrepancies,
initiate corrections and provide visibility of data. The company will
also maintain web applications to assist in the tracking, scanning and
organizing of data, identifying anomalies in the system and correcting
them.
Earlier this month,
Dynamics Research landed an $11.4 million deal from the U.S. militarys
health-care plan. The deal is a task order on an indefinite quantity/indefinite
delivery deal awarded in March to the company by Tricare, the militarys
health-care plan. Under the order, Dynamics Research will provide program
management services for the traumatic brain injury and psychological health
program.
In October, Dynamics
Research won a $14.9 million Homeland Security contract to develop enterprise
architecture for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division
of DHS.
The contract came
from the office of the Chief Information Officer for ICE and was awarded
to Kadix Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Dynamics Research. The deal has
a one-year base period and four one-year options. Andover-based DRC will
provide business engineering services, technical support, design and architectural
support for ICE, according to officials.
Founded in 1955, Dynamics
Research reported a 2007 net income of $7.1 million on revenue of $229.6
million.
